If people ask me for book recommendations on the topic of foresight and futures studies, I usually recommend two books to get started:

1. Jennifer Gidley's [The Future: A very short Introduction](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29952668-the-future) is IMHO the best [[Introductions to Futures Thinking & Foresight|starting point]] to get a quick overview of the central aspects of futures thinking and [[futures studies]].
