After narrowing down the understanding of Future Imaginaries, differentiation from other terms dealing with similar frames of reference follows. The aim is not only to identify similarities and differences but also – as far as possible – to clarify the understanding of Future Imaginaries. To stay within the set framework of this thesis, each term can only be roughly sketched and its relation to Future Imaginaries hinted at.
